Recently, TENPOWER’s Malaysia manufacturing base successfully connected its 9.56 MW distributed photovoltaic project to the grid, and now has been officially put into operation. Upon full commissioning, the project is expected to generate approximately 12–14 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean electricity annually.

TENPOWER’s Malaysia manufacturing facility officially commenced mass production in April this year, with an annual production capacity of 400 million cylindrical cells. Following the grid connection of the photovoltaic power station, it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 12,000 tons per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of about 5,000 gasoline-powered vehicles.

Build “Green Manufacturing Facility” +” Sustainable battery cells”

• Build an ESG governance framework and target system to drive transparent and compliant operations.

The grid-connected operation of the Malaysia photovoltaic project is one of Tenpower’s key ESG initiatives moving from “planning” to “implementation,” and it also accumulates experience for promoting renewable energy use at more production bases globally.
